Glen, Peat and Shamus made their way to Polk Street and stopped at Royal Oak, in Russian Hill. It’s an interesting place – Glen commented that the decor looked like the setting for an orgy. The tables are circular, which gives it a friendly vibe – a good place to bring a group. Strangely, there was house music playing, which didn’t exactly fit. But, nonetheless it was an enjoyable place for the three gents to enjoy some Coors Lights. Peat and Glen left Shamus in the company of a friend of his, and continued along the journey.
